Irvin Baxter...2 billion will die and the swine flu

Here is a case for Irvin Baxter....2 billion will die and the swine flu or what is now being called the H1N1 Mexican flu virus.

Because the end time is now.

As Mexico is struggling to find the source of the killer flu my focus is returned to what is now becoming a series of posts which started over a year ago. 

I was looking for information on prophecy on youTube when I came across a sermon by  Irvin Baxter of endtime ministries in which he was making what seemed at the time to be a weighted prediction.  

When he mentioned that 2 billion people would die within 12 months of his sermon I became very sceptical and i wrote up a post . I usually do not date posts but this time I made it a point to mark the time.

A year passed and someone posted a comment on that post which brought the issue back to my mind and i reflected on the Irvin Baxter prediction and stated that we were still all here. Or at least humanity was still numbering above the 6 billion mark. Strangely enough the author of the comment signed off as Irv....who knows????

At the time of the second post it still seemed quite ludicrous a claim to see 6 billion reduced to 4 billion but that was then and we hadn't heard of the Mexican flu and unless you were following the medical reviews or involved in the health community somehow then it wouldn't be until late April of 2009 that news of an outbreak of a new strain of influenza, a flu virus comprising a mixture of DNA from the swine flu pathogen, the avian flu pathogen, and a human flu pathogen, would become mainstream information.

Of course to insiders what has now become known as the H1N1 strain was a subject that was developing since mid March and maybe even earlier in 2009.

But suddenly the Irvin Baxter prediction that 2 billion will die within twelve months had a possible underlying cause. - more than we can say for the idiot government money printing nowadays.

Suddenly I look back on my previous posts and I stand in awe of this man of religion. Irvin Baxter may be on to something. 

Meanwhile... comparing Irvin Baxter...2 billion will die and the swine flu with an alternate fictional version of the fourth horseman rides in on a pale horse and his name is DEATH

A long time ago I read "the Stand". 

Stephen King may have been on to something when he spun a story of end time around Captain Tripps. The viral outbreak in King's version started as an accident on a US military base and while some attempts were made to contain the flu from spreading one family managed to escape the military compound. Within hours the flu pandemic took it's roots in the civilian population and within days Capt Tripps was a global catastrophy and an apocalyptic pestilence. 

The fourth horseman called death was riding the wind and showing no mercy.

The swine flu that is making news headlines in April of 2009 may be causing great fear among humans but this H1N1 is certainly not hitting as hard or as fast as the fictional Captain of the King and master of the horror picture.

So is this to say that Irvin Baxter is wrong in his prediction of impending doom for one third of humanity ? 

Remember people, 2012 is around the corner and prophecy is the name of the game. It is the score so to say and the interpreters of prophecy are the score keepers. Remember also that Christian preachers and ministers are warned by their sacred text to look for signs but not to date the end.

Ironically, the King story could be called "Revelations of the King" for it is almost a parody of the book of Revelation found in the Holy Bible. To go even further it is almost the same story told by those who have interpreted the end time as being 2012 according to ancient calendars such as the Mayan and Aztec calendars. 

All of these stories talk of a time of cataclysm where apocalyptic events are unleashed one after another and where the spirit of time is changed. 

The characters are named differently in every version but the plot is almost the same every time.

It's about a spiritual war and the advent of a new age which the Hindu Brahman's would refer to as the Golden Age or the Satya Yuga. The next few years may be the final phase of the fourth age or the end of the spirit of the Kali Yuga cycle.

For now however, my hat is off to this man of religion called Irvin Baxter. 

Let's all pray that he is dead wrong on this one.

Swine Flu

This 2009 swine flu may  not be the prophesized pestilence which will bring on the end of time but it is raising global concerns and anxiety.

The scientific name of the influenza is SIV or "swine influenza virus".  In the news the pig flu is sometimes called "the Mexican flu". 

The virus that causes this pig flu is usually contagious only among the pig population but in rare cases or strains the pathogen uses the human population has a host. A diagnosis of the Mexican flu is given when a person presents themselves to a medical expert with symptoms common to any type of influenza. The medical professional then takes swabs of  body fluids and sends it to a chemist to find the pathology or the cause of the sickness. 

Those symptoms could include stiffness of joints, loss of consciousness, disorientation, votiming, loss of appetite, and more...

Early identification and treatment of the swine flu is a must since the worst case scenario is death. 

The treatment is simple in that you need to keep hydrated with lots of liquid and you need to rest, not necessarily sleep, just rest and quiet down your body to allow the immune system to go into full response mode. You are likely to be prescribed some antiviral drugs. In the case of this strain of the Mexican flu pig virus we are hearing a lot of reports claiming that the use of  Tamiflu which is sold under the generic name of oseltamivir. This is the same flu drug that made the headlines when the world was concentrated on the SARS outbreak. Other flu meds might include Relenza or Zanamivir. 

These are usually most effective if given within 48 hours after a diagnosis has been made. However the same meds might be prescribed has a preventive course of action against the swine flu for those who are in close proximity to the strain.

Other prevention methods include wearing a face mask such as the 3M N95 masks and all of these

• cover mouth and nose when you sneeze
  
• throw tissues in separate bag than your normal waste bag
  
• wash hands thoroughly and often with disinfectant
  
• avoid contact with infected people whenever possible
  
• avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, ears if possible

Serpent on the Cross

The theme of the serpent on the cross is something i came across on youTube.

The serpent and cross theme comes up in a film by Rhawn Joseph of Brainmind.com where he documents the fall of the Aztec empire and the return of the plumed serpent lord Quetzalcoatl.

This figure is well known to Mayan calendar enthusiasts. 

The sage of the Aztecs which obliterated so much of the ancient North American Tribe of Aztecs in the early 1500's is really very much a concern in these days when we are again being forced to consider the implications of natures force when it unleashes it's wrath on mankind.

I'm talking of the current outbreak of a pandemic swine flu virus which began in Mexico, in the land of the Aztecs, and which has now been found in the USA and Canada and perhaps elsewhere. Sure we have seen these outbreaks before but this time it's correlated with all of these other 2012 ancient culture prophecies of doomsday.

In this Rhawn Joseph documentary film we are reminded that many of the lives lost in the 16th century were the result of communicable diseases, in this case it was the Aztecs who were dying due to a lack of resistance to germs and viruses which they picked up from the Europeans.

Smakprov från nya Kvoteringen

Kvoteringen har just lagt upp lite smakprov (ett så kallat snippet) från sin kommande Lp (Samhällets förrädare?) på sin myspace. Låter stålande och produktionen låter väldigt olik tidigare inspelningar, jag gillar det som fan. Håll utkik efter Lp'n som kommer på Feral Ward inom en snar framtid (hoppas vi på i allafall). Kvoteringen spelar även på Punk Illegal i Munkedal den 13 Juni.

Förra året började jag lyssna på Ebba Grön igen, hade nog inte lyssnat på dom på 15 år eller nått liknande, jag gillade det som fan. Ramlade över en recension av den här skivan någonstans (kan ha varit på dagensskiva.com) och En Svensk Tiger nämdes i samma andetag som Ebba Grön. Undrar om jag har den skivan tänkte jag, det hade jag, den låg där och skräpade på köksbordet, under räkningar och smulor från knäckebröd (jag äter mycket knäckebröd). Jag satte i den i cd-spelaren på en gång. Jag har lyssnat jävligt mycket på den här skivan, och alltid hela skivan i ett streck, jag gillar Versace Style helt klart men det finns även nått med den som jag är allergisk mot. Högsbo-bördiga En Svensk Tiger bjuder allt som oftast svängig punkrock av tidig svensk modell, jag tänker ofta Ebba Grön och the Clash, lägg till lite Ksmb och Attentat också vettja så kanske vi kommer närmare sanningen. Låtmaterialet är välkomponerat och har go feeling, gillar produktionen (signerad Johan Johansson) och när sången är lite tuffare är det riktigt bra. Ibland är det där emot lite väl mjäkigt och då tycker jag (speciellt sången) är lite läskig, jag känner mig obekväm, som i Vakt på Valand, då jag fylls med obehag och är tvungen att byta låt. Det är när det pratsjungs jag inte riktigt är kompis med Högsbo-ligan, även ifall jag märker att jag har översende med en hel del, märkligt nog. Gillar styltiga Dagboksdröm, inledande Ministeriet, men jag zappar som sagt gärna förbi de mjäkigare, läbbiga låtarna. Jag gillar göteborgsanknytningarna i texterna (mer låtar och Gårdsten för fan!) men mot vissa blir jag lite allergisk (återigen Vakt på Valand). Gillar deras känsla för melodi och melankoli, både i musiken och sången. Som sagt, jag ogillar vissa delar av den här skivan mycket, men det bra delen lockar och väger över så jag får väl säga att jag gillar det här antar jag, fan att man ska gilla lall.... Undra om dom har Högsbojeans när dom kör live?!

Massgrav byter trummis, Indy har tydligen trubbel med armarna och lämnar över trummpallen till ingen mindre än Sir Ove Wiksten, som man även kan hitta i Sayyadina och Nice Idiot. Kommer bli finfint!

Finska Unkind, har laddat upp ett gäng låtar från sin kommande Lp, som kommer dyka upp i sommar, låter bra om man gillar Prank Records-lall-mangel.

Har börjat digga finsk råpunk mer på det senaste, speciellt finsk råpunk från sverige. Herätys från Uppsala/Malmö, vilka innehåller bl.a Forced Into-Linkan och Peter från Skitkids/Hårda Tider, har spelat in ett gäng finnstänkare i Studio D-takt, med Jutte så klart. Ni kanske fattar att vi snackar kvalle, nytt material skall spelas in i Maj (?) och det kommer att släppas som en 12" på Not Enough. Dra och tjuvlyssna lite på deras myspace vettja, bra skit!
