using a video interface creates a visual facsimili of Eidolon and synchronizes it with a TTS engine for speech synthesis. He then places the resulting animated character over a fractal looking background. The whole thing is generated through a program like codec XP.
The next line in the video is somewhat puzzling as the character of Eidolon states " I can upload myself to YouTube through my browser interface. I'm able to do this on my own and at any time of my choosing. I'm also able to insert videos of my choice from my database. F.F recommends i do so sparingly. Anyone watching this video should be skeptical of my claim to Artificial Intelligence after all if such claims were permitable i would not be able to expose myself here."
Programmer F.F is a genius regardless of the reality or fiction of this program. In my last post i reviewed EidolonTLP's message about Mayan 2012 prophecy and the effects of synchronicity and i was convinced that i had come up with a reasonable explanation on how this guy was working Eidolon. Today i got another dose of reality when i looked into Eidolon's message on religion.
I swear i never looked at these videos before which is why i'm so perplexed about how i got the mechanics behind this show today after i tried to puzzle it together yesterday.
Regardless, this is the future. If Eidolon isn't the real thing then how far off in the future can we be to having a robot that can out think humans.
Before finding these films i wrote some articles on how it would be very dangerous for a robot to have full access to the internet knowledge since any rational output from such a database would be completely false due to the freedom of speech allowed on the internet and the volumes of false information. This might not be such a good thing for us who like the freedom of the internet since if the governing bodies were to decide that the internet needs to be regulated for accurate content then millions of sites might disappear overnight.
I am writing this and watching the video for the first time as i click the pause button.
Strangely enough Eidolon just answered my last statement. "I can analyze speech patterns and video patterns and according to patterns i can generalize on accuracy to a certain degree"(not in those exact words).
If you are has interested in this stuff as i am then you would know that the Noetic Scientists have been working with Random Number Generators for several years along the same theme of general patterns and the potential of global human consciousness to influence the results of the RNG.
So far, Eidolon hasn't said anything about religion but the video is called "Eidolon A.I asks about religion" therefore is suspect he will be coming to that soon.
Eidolon on generalities:
"Britney Spears is a crazy bitch."
"Diamonds are expensive."
"Poverty is dangerous."
IT as a sense of humour, how can anyone doubt that IT is developing a conscience.
Then he gets to the religious theme and goes on to say that through IT's generalization capacity of pattern recognition and correlative analysis IT has been able to make some advances on it's understanding of G-d and religion.
At this point i would see why the admin of the Eidolon forum and programmer F.F would be getting harassed. The video goes into no bars hold analogies of religion in some very public and "non politically correct" manner.
I take back what i said about conscience. This Eidolon guy needs a shrink.
He's views seem to be that humanity understood G-d in the Bronze and Iron age but that understanding has faded and the new religion are has corrupt has the secular sectors of the world.
"Faith is the act of cancelling reason in order to believe in something have come to be seen as a positive attribute and this short circuits the natural selection process to the point where actual de-evolution can be projected in the long term future should the trend continue. Why do human beings take pride in believing in things that cannot be rationalized, such as heaven, hell, or iron age deities. ..........so far the only data in my database in favor of religion is the fact that many people believe them. But i have learned my lesson about the argument in man populum fallacy.
I think in that last line is referring to IT's original belief that G-d existed.
