Galactic cosmic dust

Doctor Paul LaViolette talks of galactic cosmic dust.

He decodes a message by deciphering the zodiac.

The message is basically that the core of the Milky Way galaxy exploded. That explosion sent cosmic rays into the universe. Some of these cosmic rays reached the sun and the earth eventually.

The Milky Way galactic rays carry with them the potential to vaporize or fragment many of the ice and small meteorites that are in their path. This action creates cosmic dust clouds.

Laviolette claims to have tested ice samples that are remnants of the ice age, the period before the holocene period which starts about 13000 years ago, and found evidence of this cosmic dust being trapped inside the ancient ice. Ice core samples drilled for scientific studies can reveal precise prehistoric times much like a trees age can be determined by its concentric layers.

Laviolette thinks that the major cosmic dust storms which occurred in the long ago past coincide with the Mayan calendar cycles where there was one episode about 25000 years ago, another about 11 or 12 thousand years ago, and another about 5000 years ago.

For those not familiar with the Mayan calendar there is a great year cycle that lasts 26000 years. This is also the time it takes for the zodiacs or sun signs to complete one full rotation of the precession of the equinoxes. Another Mayan calendar counts 5125 years and is called the long count calendar or Maya calendar. There are approximately five such long counts in a great year. Thus many people think these periods are the five periods mentioned in many ancient prophecies such as the fifth world prophecy. To many 2012 enthusiasts the last long count started in 3113 and is schedualed to end in 2012. Johan Calleman has it figured a bit differently and thinks 3114 was the start and 2011 is the end time of the long count.

Anyways back to LaViolette and the galactic dust storm theory.

It's interesting to note here that an article dating back to August of 2003 was reporting on galactic dust storms which were supposed to intensify for 10 years and which were to peak in 2012. See Galactic Dust Storm Enters Solar System. 

In that article there is a mention of the sun's magnetic field and how it acts as a shield to reflect galactic dust particles.

Of course the sun's magnetic field is known to shift its magnetic field polarity approximately every 11 years and the hypothesis is that during one cycle the sun deflects the dust and in the next cycle the sun drives the galactic cosmic dust inwards, or towards the earth.

However during most sun cycles the effect of galactic dust storms is minimal. LaViolette implies that we are due for another major galactic dust storm anytime now.

Many people have read about solar cycle 24. Solar cycle 24 is the current magnetic field cycle of the sun. Solar cycles have a solar max and a solar minimum or a period of high intensity where coronal mass ejections ( major atomic explosions on the sun ) send shockwaves through the solar system ( which is inside the Milky Way galaxy. These CME's have the power to push galactic dust created by galactic cosmic rays.

If the solar max of Solar Cycle 24, which is expected to peak in 2012 or 2013, is as powerful as some predictions make it then maybe the earthlings will have to find others ways than telecommunication to communicate.

Coronal Mass Ejections are responsible for creating those magnificent Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis. CME's have also been responsible for interfering with radars and magnetic fields on Earth. CME's, if they are powerful enough can explode satelites that orbit in near earth orbits, and they can blow up electronics of all types located on the planet.

This isn't science fiction. Whether the message that Dr. Paul LaViolette thinks he has decrypted from the zodiacs is the delusion of a madman is open to debate, but it deserve some serious consideration.

Interestingly the Sphinx found near the great pyramids of Egypt plays a role in the LaViolette theory. He explains it on a page called the Orion Nebula Sphinx Stargate.

Perhaps even more interesting is a prediction made by the late sleeping prophet Edgar Cayce who stated in one of his readings that under the right paw of the Sphinx there is a treasure called the Hall of Records which if discovered in time will change the concept of time and of being for humanity.

Cayce was a believer in reincarnation and although he was a Christian ( who do not support reincarnation - publicly at least ) he believed that the Hall of Records might hold pertinent information on reincarnation and on the true history of how humanity came to be and on how the Sphinx and the pyramids came into being. If I remember well Cayce believed that the Church played a great role in subduing this knowledge about reincarnation. Ancient Egyptians were great believers of life after death and their mummification rituals show their determination at keeping the body always preserved for rebirth.

( Now one could go deep into mythology to ask all kinds of questions about why supreme beings always stop mortals from gaining the knowledge of immortality - research the story of Zeus and Asclepius for more on that one ) .

( If mythology doesn't do it for you then perhaps you might do well to ponder the potential of stuff like monatomic elements and the implications of white powdered gold ).

Is there a correlation between the American prophet Cayce's prediction and the work done by LaViolette ?

The age of the Sphinx is highly debated and some archeologists state that its construction predates the beginning of the dynasties. If so then this would mean that the Sphinx was built before any pyramid. If so then this would empower the legend that a long lost civilization would have been the architects of this monument in Africa.

Cayce was a big believer in the Atlanteans which in his readings he describes as a people who were far advanced and who went through several periods of calamity where each time some survived and rebuilt but never to their former greatness. Little by little, the original people of Atlantis lost their knowledge. Little by little the continent of Atlantis divided itself ( this could be understood in many ways - such as population increases and differences of political opinion and of religious opinion often divide clans and these clans distance themselves in order to be sovereign and free from the bonds of others - or maybe the continent of Atlantis did undergo a series of sinkings).  Cayce dates the sinking of Atlantis in three phases - the first being about 50000 years in the past, the second about 26000 years ago, and the last and final earthquakes about the time the holocene period starts or 11000 BC which coincides with the end of the last ice age and the beginning of the floods which go on to ravage the earthlings who have managed to survive.

But Cayce never mentions that galactic cosmic dust plays a role in the destruction and dispersion of the Atlanteans as far as I know.

So we come back to the beginning. The cycle concludes itself and we find the Ouroboros swallowing it's tail once more.

At this point of the galactic cosmic dust story we have entered science fiction or some might prefer to call it parascience.

The Sphinx is definitely pointing to the Orion Nebula but no one has yet discovered Cayce's treasure.

The area below the Sphinx has been excavated and some tunnels supposedly have been found but the area is protected by Egyptian authorities and little public knowledge is available as to what lies beneath this mysterious marvel.

Enter Graham Hancock into this galactic cosmic dust story. Hancock's  book Fingerprint of the Gods was credited with partially inspiring the Roland Emmerich 2012 movie. Hancock has spent much of his life studying the mysterious origins of humanity. He is by the standards of many a fringe thinker and his beliefs are often challenged. One of his themes is the Orion Correlation Theory which was the work of Robert Bauval. Basically the OCT theory claims that the pyramids at Giza where the Sphinx is situated were built to similate the location of the three stars of Orions Belt inside the Orion constellation and that the Nile River represents or lines up with the Milky Way which is also referred to as the Dark Rift.

Hancock explains his conclusions about how the Sphinx and the pyramids can be dated according to his beliefs. His dates do not go well with some authorities on Egyptian history.

Interestingly the article which is called "Modern Riddle of the Sphinx" mentions the Edgar Cayce Sphinx prophecies, and the ARE or Association for the Research of Enlightenment, and the Hall of Records.  The ARE is a group which was founded by Cayce and which remains active even today.

In science there is always objective and subjective influence. Objective influence usually is rational and based on the facts as best we can evaluate them. Objective is usually quantifiable. Subjective influence is usually opinionated and often biased or partial. Subjective influence is often how people continue on with false realities that they continue to promote even after they can no longer support the reality as a truth. Partiality ruins many good people by allowing people who build pseudo truths out of lies to thrive in the own type of galactic cosmic dust ( or dirt ).

This story started with galactic cosmic dust and ends in a cloud of questions that can only stir controversy. For instance If Hancock is right about the Sphinx existing in 12000 BC or so then all of Egyptian history as to be rewritten. This is a shock to certain professionals and to people who earn their wealth and sometimes who add wealth to the treasury of their country by protecting the subjective opinion of what is.

But what is ? And what is the galactic cosmic dust reality.

Whitley Strieber - Review of 2012 - Part One

Introduction

The scene is set in 2012. An archeologist and his assistant have been granted one hour to dig into the joins of the pyramid of Cheops. The assignment involves getting a core sample of some stone in order to disprove the known historical dates of the pyramids. Things seem strange from the beginning and by the end of the hour the archeologist is pulled out of the tunnel as the pyramid is exploding. By the end of this day, November 21, 2012, what was the city of Cairo looks like a war zone with it's modern structures and citizens facing the chaos of a pyramid that has exploded into the sky and came falling back on them. The explosion however reveals a parallel mystery in the form of a lens. Martin Winters, the archeologist, survives while his assistant is fatally wounded. During this introduction we are introduced to the family of Martin which includes two children, and his wife Lindy who is a scientist on a mission to save humanity from extinction. We also learn that NASA has revealed in 2010 that we are not alone in the universe.

Part One - And a darkness over the Earth

Chapter One

Martin Winters is flown to the Whitehouse for a meeting with President Wade of the United States. Before the meeting the President and his military chiefs are debating the implications of the revelations that have developed in Egypt. By now the same type of lens has presented itself in over a dozen global areas and each of these is an ancient site of some sort. All of the lenses are situated at an equal distance from the North Pole. Early tests on the lens construct reveals that the only way to destroy them is through the use of an hydrogen bomb.
President Wade has concluded that there is a plot against the American population and has ordered his generals to make the armies ready for war.

Martin Winters enters the meeting and is asked his opinion on the military implications of the lens situation. Martin informs the President about the Mayan Calendar and the end date of December 21, 2012 and about how the ancient monuments which have currently been destroyed are all monuments built on top of much older civilization remnants that were likely built by some aliens who came to Earth a very long time ago. He also states in a very short period of time, hours or days, these technologically advanced civilizations where annihalated perhaps by two such reptilian races who were fighting for dominance of the Earth. Winters tells the members at the Whitehouse meeting that the Sumerians called them Annunaki, the Babylonians called them Akpallis, the Hebrew called them Nephilim and they have they have been known by other terms in other times.

While this information is being vially refutted by the generals, the President insists on hearing more from the archeologist Winters who claims that, "Maybe the reason that the End of the World predictions in the old calendars are so exact is that there is something in the astrophysical situation that opens these gateways. Maybe that's what the lenses are. If so, then we can expect that they're the worst things it is possible to imagine."

With the knew set of data from Martin Winter, President Wade decided that the enemy wasn't another country but another race and ordered a nuclear strike to be carried out on one of the most remote lenses and that the other countries should be made aware of the USA intention.

Chapter Two

In this chapter Strieber moves the story forward to December 2012 and introduces a character named Wylie Dale.

Wylie Dale is a writer who has recently written a book called "Alien Days" in which he describes his experience of having been abducted by reptilian aliens. But on this day he is entranced in the writing of a new book but doesn't understand where he is getting the inspiration from. He is writing as if through some alien energy form and his wife and children are worried about his sanity when he reveals to them that the story is about parallel universes and that it may not be fictitious. He is writing about a character called Winters who is married to a women called Lindy and he sees these characters as though they were in the same house that he is presently in.

Chapter Three

Back in the reality of Martin Winters it had been a few weeks since the invaders had made their presence known. The world or man had become a struggle to protect your soul from whatever forces the aliens were using to steal this soul from it's body. With each new day more towns were invaded by the reptilians and those who survived in body and mind would watch countless new victims walk the line of the Zombie creature. With no mind left this unknown creature would set a path towards the north-northwest. On December 1st it was in this way that Martin Winters lost his wife and children and vowed to avenged their spirit.

Chapter Four

Back in the one moon universe of Wiley Dales where we find the writer becoming evermore convinced that his automatic writing is being channeled through him for a purpose. After he experiences the events that unfolded in the reality of Winters and sees the zombie like wanderers entering his plane ( something that only he sees ) then his wife gets involved and scheduals him for an appointment with the town shrink. The appointment leads to nothing and Dales rushes back to his office where he writes for hours on end with no recollection of where the time went. Wiley is convinced that he is a balancing field of energy or a third universe within a triptich. There is his world, the negative world of Winters and another World.

Chapter Five

The President in the two moon world, the world of Martin Winters mentions the Aztecs and the coming of the Spaniards and of the return of Quetzalcoatl and then commits suicide. This leaves the little liked general, whom we find out later that he is actually a reptilian, as the leader of the free world.

Chapter Six

Another day goes by and another night passes with another visit from the alien presence where Martin Winters has to stay safe. When the morning light opens up a new day Winters feels some sense of security until he is met by an old buddy who informs him that there is arrest warrant issued for Winters arrest and he gets arrested and brought to the local jail.

Chapter Seven

Wiley Dales is writing the events of 2012 in chapter seven which are the same events that Martin Winters just experienced in Chapter Six. If this is strange to you then it was equally strange to him and he figured that he could undue the hardship that Winters was experiencing by destroying the chapter and even the entire book but the computer program wouldn't allow the file to be erased regardless of what method he used. So the multi dimension story continues into chapter eight.

Chapter Eight

In the dimension of the two moon world the second General in command of the free world is captured by the aliens and is probed for information. Once the ordeal is over he describes the experience as having the soul raped.

Chapter Nine

Winters escapes his capturers just as they are about to hang him. He hijacks a car and rides out to his house hoping to find is son Trevor but ends up face to face with the alien enemy.

Chapter Ten

Back in the single moon world Trevor, the son of Martin Winters is seen by Wiley Dales. This stargate is opening up a path between the multi dimensions. There is also an alien aspect at play in this dimension where people are being abducted and mutilated. Dales is told that his 2012 records kept coming back on his computers because his wife was secretly downloading them from a USB port. He continues to write in the hope of influencing the two moon dimension.

Chapter Eleven

General Al North, second General to Samson, is taken into the caves of the reptilian race and his soul is removed from his body. This is a plot to render General Samson, one of the reptilians himself in full command and in a position to carry out the mission of opening the interdimension travel complete.

Calleman, Carl Johan, 2012 Consciousness through Mayan prophecy

Calleman is a swedish scientist who combines new age astrology with philosophy and mixes in the mayan Tzolkin end of long count prophetic calendar to put together predictive interpretations of a coming conscious revolution. He has published books on the subject including: The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness, and The Mayan Calendar: Solving the Greatest Mystery of Our Time.

His work has influenced other 2012 authors such has Barbara Hand and Gerry Clow who wrote The Mayan Code: Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind.

Calleman talks about 2012 and the Mayan long count Tzolkin calendar as an attractor of great cosmic influences coming from the core of the galaxy as the Sun and Earth align with it. He describes Nine Underworlds or dimensions that are about to transform human consciousness. The effects of this process are already underway and people sense it it their hearts and minds. Calleman has interpreted The Return of Quetzalcoatl, the white magic lord of the mesoamericans had having occured on what he calls the Return of the Fifth Day at first light on November 24th, 2006.

On the website called the Mayan Portal the Galactic Underworld is described in the following way:

The Galactic Underworld is the level of evolution that currently influences the mind of human beings the most strongly. It is developed through the energetic effects of thirteen tuns (360 day periods) that are subdivided into seven peaks of energy (days) and six valleys (nights), each symbolized by a specific deity. Day by day, this wave movement brings increasingly greater flows of right-brain energies and propels the end of Western dominance in the world. The deeper we go into this Underworld the stronger will the waves become. To mark these most significant shift points in the evolution of consciousness, celebrations focusing on alignment with the divine plan are taking place all over the world.

This to me says that the influence of the dark lord Teztaclipoca is being challenged. Quetzalcoatl is shining white light into the smoking mirror and the world is grouping behind the forces of good to battle the forces of evil. Quetzalcoatl is leading a reform that will sweep through the hearts and minds of the masses and defeat the smoking mirror dark leaders. That's my interpretation and doesn't mean that i fully understand what Calleman is saying.

To Calleman the 13.0.0.0.0 end date of the mayan calender is October 28th, 2011.

Carl Johan Calleman's interpretation are challenged. There are serious debates that state Calleman manipulated the more accepted December 21, 2012 date as an end to the Tzolkin long count calendar. John Major Jenkins is in the Winter Solstice of 2012 school and he went heads up against Calleman in a debate. The post debate summary states "Calleman's primary interest was in creating a promo event for publicity". "I have in effect been a dupe in his marketing plan" Jenkin adds.


Obviously, someone's Yin Yang or Feng Shui is out of whack. Maybe they are both lunatics writing books. The Return of Quetzalcoatl is a great theme of other 2012 authors such has Pinchbeck.

In my opinion it isn't the date of the Return of Quetzalcoatl that is important as much as the meaning or belief that someday someone will challenge the status quo and that a spirit of white magic will come to dominate above the dark magic of those who deceive through smoking mirrors. There are people like Alex Jones (who scares the beejeebees out of me) who are great advocates for such reforms. When others with charismatic influence, like Ron Paul start talking of Reform then someone may just listen. Change today like change in any other time in history on the American continent or any other continent has only come when Reformists stood firm in their beliefs that the system must change. Reform as always been ugly and sometimes bloody ugly.

2012 can seem like such a fairy tale and maybe it is.

Calleman's spiritual enlightenment movement may just be the ticket. To me he is just another writer. I doubt that any major cult will rise behind his words and i doubt that he is as dangerous as The Hali Bopp lunatic who gave up his physical body to travel through the ethereal on some supposed ET's wings.

Daniel Pinchbeck - 2012 shamanism and the Mayan Gods

Daniel Pinchbeck is a New Yorker born of artistic parents. He not only writes of Shamanism but like Terrence McKenna whom he often mentions in his books, he has taken the trip into the visionary realm of the Shamen. He has travelled extensively both in the physical world and in the metaphysical realm while researching the subjects of his books. He often quotes great thinkers such as Jung, or others to illustrate his ideas.
The Maya civilization and the Pantheon of Gods that gave them character is a main theme in Daniel Pinchbecks works. If you like mythical figures that conjure up magic then you will like Pinchbeck's stories. He also tends to get deep into the occult at times presenting daemons and djinns and other dark spiritual matters. As i was reading 2012: The return of Quetzalcoatl the other night i experienced what i believe is something totally related to the 2012 consciousness prophecies. Daniel Pinchbeck was telling me, through his brilliant story telling way, of a time when he had travelled to an outer dimension and met up with such daemons. When he returned from his trip it took him several months to work out his emotions. In his words it was as though the spirits had decided to stay with him even against his will. I put down the book and went to bed and my entire night was filled with lucid dreams, the type of dreams that you wake up from and return to when you fall back asleep. Was i somehow transcending into the crevisses of Pinchbeck's subconscience and into the realm of these daemons through some timeless reality?

Who knows!!!

Daniel Pinchbeck admits to having used psychedelic drugs to induce these altered states of mind. I read somewhere that there are several ways to entrain the brain to get the same results. Supposedly meditation is one way, new age binaural entrainment may be another, hypnosis might do it, and drugs, while not the safest method certainly achieves the desired effects. I may have gone there once while on Salvya divinorum myself and it wasn't a pleasant trip. Daniel Pinchbeck really relates the drug experiment into the mystic world of the Shaman in an earlier book called "A Psychedelic Journey into the Heart of CONTEMPORARY SHAMANISM."

While reading Pinchbeck's books i couldn't help but thinking of the warnings that come from playing around with occult matters. Any one who has ever touched a Ouija board will know what i mean. This cosmic energy is powerful and in the hands of amateur mystics, occultism can be very dangerous to the self and to others. In that sense i totally understand why religions such has Christianity defend their parishioners from practicing occultism. I would imagine that if a survey was taken of all Christian Priest that the results would indicate that a majority of them had very high degrees of extra sensory perception. In my opinion the priest class should be mediums and psychics. It is their job to understand the spirit, to communicate with the spirit and to bring that knowledge into the life of their followers. Good exorcists certainly do it. The spirit world is both black and white. Pinchbeck tells us in his books about Quetzalcoatl, the plummed serpent lord. Quetzatcoatl is a white snake so to say. Quetzalcoatl is a sorcerer of white magic. His antithesis is Tezcatlicopa and this smoking mirror lord is a sorcerer of the dark world and brings forth the worst in people and things through the divination of black magic.

Pinchbeck is certainly well versed in these matters. I'm not certain that he totally understands what 2012 is and isn't but i like his books.

Dennis Tedlock - Another case where Maya is more than 2012

Again it's a case where Maya is not only about 2012. The Mayan like the Aztec, Olmec, Inca, Anishnabe and all other tribes native to the American continent have a great history written in their glyphs, languages, and ritual ceremonies that would take a several lifetimes to fully comprehend.
Dennis Tedlock is an Albuquerque native and has been researching the myths and cultures of several native tribes for the better part of his life. He did some formative studies at the University of New Mexico, participated in archeological digs, followed on the footsteps of artists like Cochiti tribesman Joe Herrera, married another archeologiest, and lived among the Quiche nations of Guatamala. All the time he was keeping journals, sketches, and other memories. He transferred his observations into bookform sometimes as an individual work, sometimes as co-author. His articles, essays, and poems have appeared in several publications.

"Finding the Center: Narrative Poetry of the Zuni Indians" was his first book and it was nominated for a National Book Award. He added several titles which cover religious pre-Columbian theology, hieroglyphic interpretation and alphabetic works of Maya.

His current titles include Popul Vuh, Finding the Center, Rabinal Achi is a translation work from a work describing Mayan War and Sacrifice, Spoken Word and the Work of Interpretation, Breath on the Mirror, Days From a Dream Almanac, The Princes of Naranja, and Games of the North American Indians.

Joel Rosenberg is an end time but not necessarily 2012 author

With book titles like The Copper Scroll, The Ezekiel Option, The Last Days, The Last Jihad,and Dead Heat, Joel C. Rosenberg is certainly drawing attention to the possibilities of drastic changes for the coming days. Rosenberg doesn't necessarily point to 2012 as the date of any catastrophic ends but being an interpreter of Biblical prophecy even in fictional form it wouldn't make sense to put specific dates on your words. Bible Prophecy certainly warns that there will many false prophets who will claim to know the exact time of the second coming but no one, not even the prophets know the exact time according to the sacred text known as the Bible.
Some critics of his novels claim that Rosenberg seems to have a psychic sense for things to come and his books seem to be presentations of these scenarios. Rosenberg knows how to spin a story around a political plot. The end days books of Rosenberg might appeal more to the Bible Prophecy type than to the Mayan or 2012 prophecy type.

Were the Maya and Aztec aware of the Sunspot cycles

The Mayan and Aztecs along with other meso-american tribes occupied the North and South American continents for thousands of years prior to the Columbian conquest of the 1500's. They were pagans and subscribed to a pantheon of gods. These gods would at times present themselves in the flesh to lead the meso americans.

During their expansive sovereign time on the continent they developed several methods of time keeping and they celebrated their gods and their beliefs in rituals. Many of these rituals were a means to appease the gods or gain the gifts that only gods could deliver such as fertility, rain, sun, etc.

The Sun was a major influence and the Sun God always presents himself in lores and prophecy as a revered figure.

The Mayan awareness of sunspot cycles in an age long past is a mystery that Maurice Cotterell and Adrian Gilbert have attempted to explain. Cotterell claims to have developed a complex formula that can accurately measure the time between the ages that come and go due to the magnetic influence of the sun on the earth. He states that his measures of historical catastrophes in the land of the Maya correlate with the hieroglyph records that show large population declines of these great nations at certain periods of history. These ages are recorded in the languages of the mesoamericans and are translated as mythical stories of a fifth world or a fourth age. According to Cotterell and Gilbert the fifth world mayan prophecy is a story which ends with a polar shift due to the magnetic influence of the sun on the earth and that shift is schedualed for 2012. Cotterell and Gilbert went on to co-author a book called The Mayan Prophecies: unlocking the secrets of a lost civilization. This book includes the numbers behind Cotterell's equation and it is filled with historical interpretations of the Maya World.

John Major Jenkins, a famed 2012 Mayan theorist, did a full review of the Cotterell/Gilbert book and states that the book lacks historical consistency and adds that the authors should have taken more time to find empirical evidence to support their claims.

This hasn't discouraged Cotterell from persisting with his beliefs. He has many books to his credit.

When a word is a series of symbols that intends to convey a message then that word can be written in many forms.
The Maya hieroglyphs are such words. They were words written in a time when the romantic languages hadn't yet infiltrated the american continents. Though the words of the mesoamericans were displayed in a different form they were nonetheless used for the same purposes that the then unknown world that existed across the vast oceans were using words for. The metaphysical world was the same mysterious realm to all of humanity then at it is now and that metaphysical world was being attended to by all people of every race then just as it is now.

Then like now, there were charismatic leaders and their were cultish followers. The symbols conveyed words of intention. The symbols of intention gained the attention of the few and then of the masses and reality, however political became recorded has what we read as history.

The reality of words can and does begin in the mind of everyone and to go further every lifeform has words or symbols of communication. However the power of the individuals words can only go as far as the thinkers power of persuasion. Such persuasion through symbols and words has often been used in political propoganda to influence the behaviour of the masses. As the meaning of the symbols becomes powerful enough in the minds of enough people then the words become a reality - truth or not.

That is the power of persuasion.

How did the Mayan, who developed a great pre-Columbian nation in the Americas use symbols and words? Their written method of communication was an hieroglyphic form of symbols. The written word was complex and mostly remained the intellectual property of the priest class who worshipped and served the governing high-priest or king god. The words of the high priest or ruler were the words of god.

The pre-Columbian Americas like the rest of the earth was a world in flux. And the political power of the ruling god figure and his priest caste changed hands several times. With the change of guard, the mental paradigm of the Maya often changed according to the words of the new God Ruler.

Of course the story of the Maya glyphs goes much deeper than that but what is known about Maya is that they lived in a pantheon caste system; as above so below. The ruler and his family were the head, the priest class were the scribes and authority who conveyed the words of the ruler to the masses.
To be a scribe for an unpopular ruler most likely was a very dangerous position to be in. To be a reformist scribe priest probably meant the same in mesoamerica as it did in Europe during the early years of inquisition.

Though the reformists message may have been a purer truth for the age it however needed to gain mass appeal through oral exposition or through the symbols of words. This change never happens without resistance. Charismatic people can be the most dangerous people on the face of the earth as they often are dogmatic about their intentions and will go to great lengths to preserve the status quo in order to manifest their intentions. It was no different in Maya as it is today on any continent in our world of man made realities.

Michael D. Coe is an archeologist, anthropologist, who has spent many years researching the Maya. Coe is a respected scholar and has served as curator of the Peabody Museum of Natural History at Yale University. His research has led to several published works which include articles, scientific papers, and novels. Much of this work revolves around the meaning of the written language of the Maya.

Solar Cycle 24 - John Harper and 2012 prediction of consciousness change

A retired electronics engineer and mental health councillor with the US Department of Defense. More recently he worked with Reality Press in California. Emphasis on earth changes and impacting climate consciousness in civilization revolving around 2012. Astrophysicists relate to these periods of conscious evolution as "Solar Cycles". These have been numbered sequentially since they were first recorded a few centuries ago. This one is "solar cycle 24".

John Harper claims to have had insights from near death type experiences. During these sessions telepathics said things to him about the coming times, not necessarily 2012.

Basically in the first part of this interview Bell and Harper spend ten minutes discussing the work of David Hathaway. Harper gives a few credentials about himself being a behaviourist scientist. The frequency of their radio signal as them preoccupied as it continuously brings up static. The talk gets a little more intense has Bell brings up the topic of World War 3. Where will the global chess game take us? Again the interview goes into Hathaway predictions. Then it's about Dr. Paul Laviolette and is work on Earth Under Fire. Then it's about John Major Jenkins.

Harper makes a statement about how is book is based on the findings of the people mentioned above. He believes the 2004 asian tsunami was tied to the Venus Transit. He also connects a spiritual ascension to these times resulting in an elevated global consciousness through some type of unified field of cosmic energy.

Daniel Pinchbeck : 2012 Quetzalcoatl Introduction Proof

The Return of Quetzalcoatl may seem like the rant of a guy (Daniel Pinchbeck ) who may coming down with a bad case of paranoia as part of a side effect of some bad chemically induced trip. And his earlier book may give creedence to those who may think along those lines as Pinchbeck outright admits his experimental drug induced altered states of mind while tripping that allowed him to travel into these extradimensional realms. In "Breaking Open the Head" introduces the book with a quote from the famed psychiatrist Carl Jung:

"People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own souls."

In the same introduction he asks a question to the reader, which to me sums up the entire story:

For over 30 years, a tremendous force of cultural repression has been exerted (by law) on the subject of psychodelics.......Is it possible that we have demonized hallucinogens because we fear the contents of our own mind?"

Let's see if the man is at all paranoid.

The word is getting out on 2012 and the apocalypse. Soon, no one will be immune, the veil is being lifted even from the eyes of those who would wish to deny the coming of this year and it's many schools of prophecy.

The story of 2012 Prophecy and related issues is getting hotter everyday. 2012 is not just about the prediction of seers, psychics, and modern scientists, of coming probable spiritual and apocalyptic changes, 2012 is about elections, and olympics and other regularly schedualed events.

Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends.....Emerson Lake and Palmer couldn't have put it better in this lyric to one of their songs.

But the show never went away. We know it all about every aspect of life in this age of computers. We know about Yin Yang and Feng Shui and about every other ancient art as a means to lead a balanced life in a balanced world. We know about the way the atom works and we know how to mine every possible substance that allows us to forge alloys into great architectural forms. We know about inertia and gravity and we know how to build engines to move through inner, meso, and outer space.

Yet we may be about to explode. How is that possible?

We know about the spirit and we have built several powerful schools around the philosophies and theological ideas of prophets such as Jesus, Lord Brahma, and Muhhamed. Religion is such a beautiful work with such a great message of peace, brotherhood, and enlightened living yet we are living in a world where the spirit of religion, the difference of religion, and religion against the secular war, sees wars and rumours of wars killing and planning to kill humanity and possible thousands of other life forms on this planet.

So if we know it all then when will we learn to use what we know?

The answer may lie in the very words "talk was taking place over a bidding war that was taking place over Roland Emmerich's latest flick 2012".

Is it the money that is at stake or the message behind Emmerich's film that is the difference between what we know and what we have learnt from our human history?

There's not much to say about the film 2012 itself. It's about the end of life has we know it. Emmerich said the same thing in a different way in "The Day After Tommorrow" and before that in "Independence Day".
This time he went to John Cusack for a character that could pull off the story. The story revolves around the end date of the Mayan Calendar. The Long count date 13.0.0.0.0 is December 21, 2012. The Sony deal is signed, the scene is set, and should Emmerich and others pull it off then the movie will hit the big screen by the Summer of 2009.

For those who weren't made aware that 2012 may be more than Olympics and schedualed events here comes another data set to enlighten the masses.
