John Major Jenkins 2012 and the womb of creation

The Maya Sacred Tree is the cross symbolizing the galactic alignment along the dark rift which is schedualed to occur during the winter solstice of 2012.

How could the Maya be aware of the Galactic center which even our modern science technology is only beginning to understand?

To the Mayan, who seem to have been aware of the existence of the Milky Way Galaxy, the center of this body of stars, the galactic center, would have represented to them the womb of creation. The Milky Way galaxy is also known as Ouroboros or the Serpent of Light which winds itself in a circle and eats it's own tail.

Jenkins work is interesting although i have never read his books.

I find it interesting that the galactic alignment or Cosmic cross that he discusses only occurs every 26000 thousand years and that it involves Sagittarius A.
This star is situated at the center of the Milky Way or one could say at that point when the serpent bites its tail. Sagittarius A. is 26000 light years away from Earth. That's a peculiar correlation.

Astrologers have been studying Sagittarius A. for a long time now and they are perplexed as to what is made up of. They have narrowed it down to a massive black hole or a neutron star. The black hole is a vacuum that sucks in everything in its' path and form a massive singularity. The neutron star on the other hand is a cluster of millions of dead stars sort of like a graveyard in the heaven.

So 2012 is quickly approaching and i may be writing this for no better reason than to keep myself occupied. The choices for the near future seem bleak. Choice one, i get sucked into a singularity along with the rest of you. Choice two, i get to die with the rest of you as we witness the solar system collapse and join the million other stars in the boneyard of the universe. I don't like my chances.

But then again there may be a third choice if i accept that there may be a metaphysical aspect to the great time machine. In such a scenario we all become physically extinct but we are all reborn into the metaphysical realm.

Now why did Terence McKenna have to die so quickly? At this point i'd like to have him sitting beside me and i would certainly tell him to pass the plate. Amen. I meant the plate of 'shrooms, mate....dohhhh!!!!


Just thought this would be a good place to pitch this logo. I found this in my virtual travels one day not so long ago. It just reminds me that i am not alone on this wave. There are always others of familiar spirit. Wouldn't you know it...i can't find it but trust me it had to do with the serpent holder and the caduceus.
I don't know who designed this artwork and i don't care that you buy one or don't buy one but it speaks volumes to me. Ironically i found that when i was contemplating the Ophiucus and Serpens possibility that might be a stargate scenario in the coming years...then again...maybe not.
